With an economy under 7 and the purple cap holder, he is the best bowler of IPL 2024 so far. He has been the only shining light for Mumbai this season and his sensational form is a piece of very good news for the Indian team as well.
With a rainy day, KKR and MI were delayed substantially. But Bumrah did not let the rain mess up his form and was completely shocked by Sunil Narine with what might be the ball of the tournament.
What A Delivery!
After losing Phil Salt in the first over, the pressure was on Narine to give Kolkata the start they wanted. But Jasprit Bumrah had other ideas when he took the ball for the second over.
On his first delivery, he bowled a picture-perfect yorker that left Narine completely speechless. The ball went away from Narine who decided to leave the ball for good. It was the perfect reaction to a ball of this quality.
But the ball curled in brilliantly and shaved down the off stump. Narine was left perplexed and was caught staring at the ball for a few seconds before walking away. It was a golden duck for Narine and that is not something you have heard in this IPL.

The rain at Eden Garden almost ruined the match as it could have been cancelled. But the rain ended at the right time and the umpires decided to start the game with reduced overs. The match has been reduced to 16 overs with KKR batting first.
