Trent Boult struck again in the first over for the eighth time in IPL 2024. He got Prabhsimran Singh on the fourth delivery of the first over. A beautiful length ball that took the upper edge of Prabhsimran’s bat.
The ball ran towards the third man and Yuzvendra Chahal started running towards it. He was running backward with both his eyes on the ball. Everyone was looking at him with anxiety.
But in a hilarious fashion, Chahal fell down on his back even before he caught the ball. After that, he guided his hands toward the ball rather than waiting for the ball to fall there. The commentators were in splits and even joked that Chahal was in control of that catch at all times.
