After the first strategic time out, Rajasthan had been restricting Hyderabad and stopped their scoring rate. As soon as Travis Head got out, the run rate completely died down and Avesh Khan saw the opportunity.
In just one over, he took two main wickets to cripple Hyderabad’s middle order completely. Now it is up to Klassen and the lower order to put a respectable score on the scoreboard.
Avesh Khan On Fire
The runs were slowing down as Nitish Kumar Reddy and Henrich Klassen were not able to score freely. They scored 21 runs together in 23 deliveries. Someone needed to make the move.
In the 14th over, Nitish Reddy decided to do that against Avesh Khan. He was struggling and was looking for a shot to set himself free. That is when he decided to play a reverse sweep.
But luck was not in his favor as Yuzvendra Chahal took a brilliant catch to dismiss him. Avesh struck again on the next delivery when he clean-bowled Abdul Samad on a golden duck.

Chahal might have not gotten many wickets today, but he was the busiest man on the ground. He took three catches and all three came on short third man. Two catches were brilliant and it got Rajasthan in a very strong position.
