IPL 2024 RR Vs SRH Qualifier 2: We knew that this game was going to be intense. A match where anything could happen and every expert predicted it to be an intense qualifier.
And the way this PowerPlay went down, it has been a treat for every fan. It was not a one-sided PowerPlay towards any team. Both teams had their moments in the first 6 overs and it will be an intense match going forward.
On one hand, Hyderabad remained true to its identity and scored at a massive rate. On the other hand, it was Trent Boult’s show. Once again he was the one who kept RR in competition and broke SRH’s top order.

The match started in full flow when Abhishek Sharma hit Trent Boult for a six on the third delivery of the match. From there Hyderabad never slowed down even though wickets kept falling down.
Rahul Tripathi took the charge after Abhishek and ruined Ravichandran Ashwin when he scored 15 runs against him in a single over. It was shocking that Travis’s head was the one who was being patient, mainly because of Ashwin.
Trent Boult Show
Even after going for 10 runs per over, it was Boult who once again shined in the PowerPlay. He went for 13 runs in the first over but got the wicket of dangerous Abhishek Sharma. It can also be a warning for every opposition in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
After that, he got Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram in a single over to break the top order of Hyderabad. After the end of six overs, Hyderabad had scored 67 runs with the loss of 3 wickets and any team can dominate from here.
