IPL Viral Video: On Tuesday (April 25), Arjun Tendulkar, the son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, made his batting debut for Mumbai Indians in the seventh match of IPL 2023 against Gujarat Titans. This match, which was Match No. 35 of the tournament, was played at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. Arjun, who is a left-handed batter unlike his father, came out to bat at No. 9 and faced nine deliveries during his innings as a 23-year-old fast bowling all-rounder. He scored 13 runs, including one six.

Arjun Tendulkar’s blistering maximum
On the first ball of the 20th over of Mumbai Indians’ innings, he smashed a massive six off Gujarat Titans’ pacer Mohit. This boundary marked his first-ever in the lucrative league, and he ensured it was a memorable one by hitting it against a high-level Indian pacer who has been performing well in the current season of the IPL.
The six that Arjun hit traveled a total distance of 77 meters, leaving Mohit astonished that he had been beaten by a young batsman who was batting for the first time. Mohit’s reaction while preparing to deliver the next ball of the over also became viral on the internet after he had just been hit for a six.

Despite Mumbai Indians suffering a loss by 55 runs in their seventh match of IPL 2023, it was a successful day for Arjun. Firstly, he made a comeback after conceding 31 runs in one over against Punjab Kings and bowled an economical spell of 2-0-9-1 against the defending champions. Additionally, he got the opportunity to bat for the first time in four matches, making it a memorable experience.
