IPL Viral Video: Faf Du Plessis is renowned for his power-hitting skills and the kind of atmosphere he brings on the pitch. His team, Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Mumbai Indians on their first clash of IPL 2023 on 2nd of April by 8 wickets. Opener and skipper Faf led the chase from front and hit several glorious shot.

Faf smashes back to back sixes
Along with Kohli, who scored 82* off 49, Faf himself played a blistering inning of 73 from just 43 balls. The proteas star smashed five boundaries and six maximums in his knock, making the chase of 172 look seemingly easy. At first, Du Plessis smashed two back to back sixes in the third over that was being bowled by Behrendroff.
He again repeated this heroic in tenth over which was bowled by Hrithik Shokeen. The first six came on the third ball towards the deep-mid wicket while the next one came on the fourth ball towards the long-on. With the first six, he also reached towards his fifty. The Chinnaswamy crowd was left into frenzy as the run carnage kept them on their feet.

RCB comfortably won the match by 8 wickets with the starry knocks from both the openers. This was also the 11th straight defeat for Mumbai Indians in opening matches they played in the tournament since 2013.
