IPL Viral Video: Sanju Samson, the captain of Rajasthan Royals, displayed his exceptional talent and power by smashing three consecutive sixes off the bowler Rashid Khan, who is known for his magical deliveries. This was a remarkable feat, especially considering that Samson had scored two back-to-back ducks in the previous matches.
The target set for Rajasthan Royals to win the game was 178. However, the team got off to a terrible start as their in-form openers, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler, were dismissed cheaply. Nevertheless, Samson stepped up to the challenge and played an outstanding inning to lead his team towards victory.
Sanju Samson’s shows his class
Sanju Samson was facing Rashid Khan’s third over of the innings, with Rajasthan Royals needing 112 runs to win in 8 overs. Samson had faced a few deliveries and knew he needed to increase the run rate. Rashid bowled a shorter, slower delivery, but Samson was prepared for it and pulled it hard off the backfoot to clear the deep midwicket region, hitting his first six of the over.
The next ball was also a shorter-length delivery, but this time Samson didn’t quite hit it as powerfully as he wanted. However, the ball still sailed over for his second six of the over. For his third six, Rashid bowled another shorter-length ball, and Samson rocked back to hit it ferociously over the wide of long-on. This time, the shot came off the middle of the bat and went much further than the previous two hits.

The partnership between Samson and Shimron Hetmyer proved vital in the end phase of the match, as they helped the Rajasthan Royals surpass the target of 178 runs. Hetmyer’s contribution with the bat was also notable, as he played an onslaught towards the end, scoring 56* in 26 balls, ultimately helping the Rajasthan Royals to claim their fourth win of the season and secure the top spot on the table.
