Dhoni delivered an accurate throw from his position behind the stumps to dismiss Rajasthan Royals’ young player Dhruv Jurel.

Despite his struggles as a batter due to a knee injury, the 41-year-old legendary wicketkeeper-batsman, MS Dhoni, has maintained his exceptional skills behind the stumps. This was evident when he executed a remarkable pickup and throw to run out Jurel, who was batting at 34 off 15 balls and aiming to lead his team to a total of 200-plus.
During the last over of Rajasthan Royals’ innings, on the third ball, CSK skipper Dhoni demonstrated his continued threat as a wicketkeeper. The bowler, Matheesha Pathirana, delivered a low full-toss outside the leg-stump with Devdutt Padikkal facing. Dhoni seized the opportunity and unleashed a superb pickup and throw to dismiss Jurel, showcasing his skills even in the latter stages of his illustrious career.
As the Rajasthan Royals batter attempted to flick the ball, he failed to make contact with his bat. Meanwhile, Jurel had already initiated a run towards the striker’s end. Exploiting the situation, Dhoni swiftly gathered the ball from behind the stumps and executed an impressive direct hit, leaving everyone astonished by his agility and precision.
