IPL Viral Video: In a dominating performance, the Chennai Super Kings cricket team secured a resounding 49-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders to claim the top spot in the IPL table with five wins out of seven games. However, another moment i.e. Jadeja’s no-look runout and bails betrayl to him has now taken over the internet.
Bails betray Ravindra Jadeja
During the 9th over of the innings, Ravindra Jadeja was bowling to Jason Roy while Rinku Singh was standing at the non-striker’s end. On the last ball of the over, Roy hit the ball towards Jadeja after it was delivered as a fuller delivery. Unexpectedly, Jadeja decided to attempt a no-look run-out, a move that took everyone by surprise, particularly Rinku. However, Jadeja was successful in hitting the stumps, but unfortunately, the zing bails did not come off, even though the stumps were lit up.
Upon reviewing, it was clear that Rinku would have been dismissed if the bails had come off during Jadeja’s no-look run-out attempt. Roy also had a close call as he tried to sneak a single after Jadeja’s throw. In his haste, Roy found himself stranded in the middle of the pitch when he realized that Rinku was not responding. However, he was able to recover in time and saved his wicket with a timely dive.

In the match, Chennai Super Kings were asked to bat first and managed to score a colossal total of 235 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. The CSK batsmen, including Devon Conway, Ajinkya Rahane, and Shivam Dube, all scored fifties for the team, contributing to their impressive score. This score is the highest ever recorded by an IPL team at the iconic Eden Gardens stadium. Kolkata Knight Riders, in response, managed to score 186 runs for the loss of 8 wickets, resulting in a 49-run loss.
