Japanese GP: Formula One racing is ongoing and former champion Max Verstappen retained his title. He won the title last year also and he wrapped up the defense of his title at Suzuka as well, after winning four races. His victory was the 12th win of the season after Max started from the pole position to reach the chequered flag ahead of any other driver on the grid. Even after the deluge in Suzuka, Max sealed the deal to win his second straight world championship title at the same venue where he made his debut as the youngest driver to take part in the practice session.
His second title came in a heroic style in comparison to his maiden win last year. He clinched the title in a controversial manner at the expense of seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. This year, the dutch high flyer is above anyone in the league. He took a lead of over a hundred points separating him from his closest competitors.

However, the rain came up with some drama as the full point was not awarded to the driver, but it was declared at the end that the number of laps merited the full points. Max started off this season in a disappointing style as he came up with a DNF result on the first race but he claimed the winning in Saudi Arabia.
