The India squad for the T20Is against Ireland includes Jasprit Bumrah (Captain), Ruturaj Gaikwad (Vice-Captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Sanju Samson (wicket-keeper), Jitesh Sharma (wicket-keeper), Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Ravi Bishnoi, Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar, and Avesh Khan.

Fellow pacer Prasidh Krishna, who was also recovering from an injury, has made a return to the squad.

The series against Ireland will consist of three T20Is and is scheduled shortly after India’s final leg of the West Indies tour and before the Asia Cup.

A preparatory camp is planned ahead of the Asia Cup, which is expected to be attended by the full-strength squad. This presents an opportunity for the new players to showcase their abilities and allows for testing Bumrah’s fitness after his comeback from injury.

Among the players who were part of India’s T20I squad in West Indies, only Tilak Varma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Arshdeep Singh, Sanju Samson, Ravi Bishnoi, Mukesh Kumar, and Avesh Khan have been selected for the T20I series against Ireland as well.
