Announcing his return to net play on his official Instagram account, India’s best bowler, who has been out since September, said he will be playing again soon.

The absence of Bumrah due to a back injury caused India to suffer a significant setback before to the start of the 2022 T20 World Cup. There is no doubt that he won’t see the remainder of the action in 2022. The 29-year-old, though, was able to fully resume bowling in the nets in a video that was posted to Instagram.
The possibility of Bumrah joining the team for the Sri Lanka series will be exciting to observe. Team India will host SL in six white-ball matches in January 2023. India will host a white-ball series against New Zealand after the SL series before playing Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. If healthy, Bumrah might be selected for the white-ball squads to demonstrate his match readiness.

The pacer might also come back immediately for the Test series, which is scheduled from February 9 to March 13. India struggled a lot in the 2022 T20 World Cup without Bumrah.
