In their first clash, the Indian men’s team suffered a setback against Pakistan on Sunday. Nevertheless, they bounced back with determination, clinching victory against Australia. In contrast, the Indian women’s team has displayed an impressive performance, securing triumphs in both of their first two matches. Their resolute approach is evident as they participate in the ongoing prestigious event.
Taking to X (Formerly Twitter), Jay Shah wrote, “Celebrating remarkable victories by our Indian Blind Cricket teams at IBSA World Games 2023! Next up for the men’s team is a match against England on Tuesday, whereas the women’s team is set to face Australia on Wednesday in the ongoing IBSA World Games 2023 held in Birmingham. The blind cricket segment of the IBSA World Games commenced on Saturday, featuring England and Australia in the inaugural match. This momentous occasion marked the debut of cricket within the World Games framework.
