Jay Shah is quite adamant about changing the cricketing scene in India. Since his appointment to the Indian Cricket Board, the BCCI secretary has done everything in his power to improve cricket in India.

But since the loss in the ODI World Cup 2023 final, the board and his desire have turned into a positive stubbornness. This is perfectly visible in the appointment of Gautam Gambhir as the next head coach. As the board is ready to accept demands that no one thought it would.

And now, Jay Shah has invited representatives of all the state associations for a meeting at BCCI HQ in Mumbai. This crucial meeting will focus on exchanging ideas to improve cricket in India and will have one more motive.

Jay Shah Invites Everyone

Earlier this week, the BCCI secretary communicated his desire for a get-together with all the state representatives.

The invitation sent by Shah read “It is my pleasure to extend an invitation to you to come to Mumbai to have a session to meet, exchange ideas, and watch together the India vs Australia World Cup match on June 24, 2024.”

He further stated “Friends, it has been some time since we have met in person and had discussions on important topics. I feel we must meet from time to time and have a regular informal discussion on the issues concerning cricket and how to further improve it in India. “

India Vs Australia In Focus?

The BCCI secretary has picked a date where everyone can enjoy a very intense match of cricket. India will face their arch-nemesis Australia in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on June 24.

One of the meeting’s agenda is the live stream of that match as mentioned in the invitation.
