Jyotiraditya Scindia: Union Minister enjoys his ‘Ideal Sunday,’ watch his batting prowess as he smashes ball far away

Jyotiraditya Scindia: The Gwalior Sports Festival was inaugurated on Sunday by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who also played cricket with young players and remarked on India’s enormous sporting potential. A sporting event is being held from January 8 to January 15 thanks to the Gwalior district government.

Different sports will be played during the Gwalior Sports Festival on four city-owned fields. From the school level to other city organisations, cricket, kabaddi, kho kho, volleyball, and other sports will also be organised.

Taking to Twitter, Minister Scindia posted “Got the opportunity to inaugurate ‘Gwalior Sports Festival’ at Roop Singh Stadium in Gwalior. Around 85 male and 15 female wrestlers will show their mettle in wrestling competitions in this festival. This is a commendable effort towards increasing awareness among the youth towards sports and health.”

Various sports to be played in Gwalior Festival

Various sports will be played during this sporting event on four city-owned fields. The sports festival will begin with matches of cricket, volleyball, basketball, and kabaddi. He also later stated “India has tremendous potential in the sports industry. Prime Minister Modi believes this. We organised the sports festival with this idea and the assistance of the Government of India. We believe this will bring a new enthusiasm in the youth and new sports Navratnas will emerge.”

The minister also engaged in a game of cricket with the youngsters and shared a video of himself swinging the bat and taking long drives. Young athletes will have a chance to demonstrate their ability at the sports festival, according to MP Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar.

When the Gwalior Sports Festival was introduced, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia couldn’t help but play a game of cricket. His love for cricket was obvious when he arrived to the Roop Singh Stadium.
