KL Rahul: Prior to the start of their ICC T20 World Cup 2022 campaign, Team India faces Australia in their first warm-up game. However, a moment from the match’s first inning went viral. Rahul, the Indian opener, appeared to yell a foul term after smashing his bat on Marcus Stoinis’ over.
When the Men in Blue batted first, they got off to a strong start, with KL Rahul easily dispatching Australian spinners. When KL Rahul’s bat fractured after playing a stroke on the previous delivery during the first innings’ 3.5 over, he exclaimed “F**k Yaar!” Watch video:
Before losing his wicket to Glenn Maxwell, Rahul scored 57 runs off only 33 balls.
India will play two warm-up games, each of them against Australia and New Zealand before their inaugural Super 12 match against Pakistan on 23rd October.
