Following a contentious interview with presenter Piers Morgan in which the 37-year-old criticised the club’s leadership and manager Erik ten Hag, Manchester United terminated the player’s contract.
Lionel Messi to join Al-Hilal?
Any further Champions League matches between Lionel Messi, who is presently playing for PSG, and Cristiano Ronaldo were put to rest as a result of this draw. Despite the fact that on January 19 they will play a friendly match against a Saudi all-star XI made up of players from Al-Hilal and Al Nassr as part of PSG’s midseason visit.
