Messi has endured a difficult start of the life with new club since his exit from Barcelona in August.
The Argentina footballer will miss the Monday tie against Vannes, and is likely to be sidelined for PSG’s first Ligue 1 match since their break in winter.
“They are currently respecting isolation and are subject to the appropriate health protocols,” PSG said.
The number of COVID-19 cases in France has increased to over 200,00 a day this week.
