LSG vs CSK IPL 2023: Krunal Pandya, the stand-in captain of Lucknow Super Giants in the absence of injured KL Rahul, faced a challenging time on the field as his team opted to bat first. Unfortunately, Pandya’s innings did not start on a positive note. Following Vohra’s dismissal, he stepped up to the crease but was swiftly dismissed without scoring a run, known as a golden duck. Ajinkya Rahane took an excellent catch to send Pandya back to the pavilion.

Rahane pulls off a stunner
Lucknow Super Giants did not have an ideal start in the game despite the match happening at their home ground. Star Opener Kyle Mayers was dismissed for a score of 14 off 17 balls. Manan Vohra tried to stabilise the innings but was dismissed on the fourth ball of the 6th over by Theekshana after scoring 10 off 11. Stand-in skipper Krunal Pandya entered the crease and was expected to go big but he was dismissed on the next ball itself.
Rahane, positioned at first slip, skillfully moved towards the depths to complete a remarkable catch and dismiss the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) batter. Prior to the catch, Krunal Pandya had a slight edge on the ball, causing it to fluctuate towards the slip region where Rahane made a low catch to secure the wicket.
