LSG vs CSK IPL 2023: In their match against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, Chennai Super Kings gained the upper hand by quickly establishing momentum. They managed to restrict the hosts to a mere 44/5 by the end of the powerplay. The innings witnessed two exceptional catches, one by Ajinkya Rahane and the other by Moeen Ali, which initially drew significant attention. However, all discussions were soon overshadowed by a mesmerizing delivery from Ravindra Jadeja that left Marcus Stoinis completely bewildered, resulting in an all-hands-up dismissal.
Ravindra Jadeja delivers an epic ball
MS Dhoni entrusted Ravindra Jadeja with the ball right after the powerplay, presenting a challenging situation for Marcus Stoinis on the third delivery of the over. The bowler immediately signalled his intent with a sharply-turning delivery, prompting Stoinis to cautiously allow the ball to pass harmlessly into the hands of the wicketkeeper.
Jadeja unleashed a full-length delivery on the leg side, and Stoinis attempted a straight-batted drive along the line. However, the ball showed a ferocious turn upon hitting the slow and parched pitch, leaving a substantial gap between the ball and Stoinis’ bat before gently kissing the top of the off-stump. The unexpected turn of events left the 33-year-old batter bewildered as he succumbed to the deceptive delivery.
The delivery bore a striking resemblance to a classic Shane Warne masterpiece, spinning vigorously to bewilder batsmen. Marcus Stoinis stood there in shock for a couple of moments. Initially, the batter stood rooted to the ground, surveying his surroundings with a bewildered expression. He then gestured across the pitch, seeking clarification about the perplexing turn of events that had just unfolded.
