Tim David’s Triumph and Redemption Against Deepak Hooda
Tim David undertook all the labor-intensive job of racing sideways for 30 metres and dodging the skier who swung off Deepak Hooda’s bat. However, he managed to hold onto the catch even though he underestimated the ball’s fall, lost some balance, and let the ball to slip through his hands and land on his chin. He continued to stroke his chin for a little longer, even though it ached. But the drop bothered him more, and he regretted not using the reverse-cup method. The following time, however, he made sure to go for the reverse-cup and cleanly cling to the catch. Hooda was there once more, but this time the grab required less movement from David—just a few feet.
