Manu Bhaker: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took to Twitter to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Indian shooters Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh at the Paris Olympics. The Chief Minister praised the duo for bringing glory to India by winning a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.
In his tweet, written in Punjabi, Mann expressed his pride and joy, stating, “ਸਾਡੇ ਹੋਣਹਾਰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਮਨੂ ਭਾਕਰ ਤੇ ਸਰਬਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਪੈਰਿਸ ਓਲੰਪਿਕਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਾਂਸੀ ਦਾ ਤਮਗ਼ਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ…ਮਨੂ ਭਾਕਰ ਦਾ ਇਸੇ ਓਲੰਪਿਕਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਦੂਜਾ ਤਮਗ਼ਾ ਹੈ….” (Our talented shooters Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh have illuminated India’s name today by winning a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics… This is Manu Bhaker’s second medal at this Olympics…).
