Mayank Agarwal: Indian cricketer Mayank Agarwal and his wife Ashita Sood became parents to a baby boy on Thursday (December 8). The opening batter for India posted the image on Instagram after becoming a father for the first time. After dating for years, Mayank and Aashita got married on June 4, 2018.

Following their engagement in January 2018, he had made a romantic proposal to her in London. They have their first child together after more than four years of marriage. They couple have named their son “Aayansh.” Mayank posted the picture, in which he can be seen holding the baby, with the caption, “With our hearts full of gratitude, we introduce Aayansh. The first Ray of light, a part of US & a Gift of God.”
Praveen Sood, a senior police officer, is the father of Aashita, Aayansh’s mother. The couple only wanted family and close friends to attend their wedding, so Mayank and Aashita had a low-key celebration.

Mayank Agarwal: Indian cricket career
Mayank is a dependable member of India’s Test team. He is India’s opener in the game’s longest format. In 21 Test matches, he has played for India, he has amassed 1488 runs at an average of 41.33, with a best score of 243. He has four Test hundreds and two double hundreds to his name. Also, he has scored six fifties in Test cricket.
Mayank has also represented India in 5 ODIs. His white-ball career, however, has not yet reached its peak. He has just 86 runs, averaging 17.2, and neither hundreds nor fifty. Though, his records in the Indian Premier League are comparatively good. Mayank has amassed 2331 runs in 113 games, scoring them at a an average of 22.63 and hitting a total of 12 fifties.
