Riding on Venkatesh Iyer’s 104-run knock, KKR managed to post a good total on board. In response, the start of the home team wasn’t certainly very ideal as they scored just 2 runs in the first over bowled by over. However, nobody would have expected what was to transpire in the coming overs. Shardul Thakur was tasked to bowl the next over. He began smoothly, shelling just two runs in the first two balls.

However, then started off the carnage from the openers. Ishan Kishan then went on to hit 4,4,6 in the next three balls, completely shifting the momentum of the game. In total, 16 runs came from the over. The over shifted the gear for the home team as the team scored 50 runs in just 23 balls. From the next over, 17 runs came off and then 22 from the next one to it. Rohit Sharma was, however, soon dismissed for a score of 20 runs in 13 balls while Ishan was dismissed for a score of 58 runs in 25 balls.
