MI vs PBKS IPL 2023: With an exceptional delivery, Arjun Tendulkar, the young fast bowler from Mumbai Indians, managed to take his second wicket in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, while playing against Punjab Kings. His toe-crushing yorker left the batter Prabhsimran in shatters.
Arjun Tendulkar’s toe-crushing yorker
Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose to field first. The wicket from Arjun came in the seventh over, when on the fourth delivery, Prabhsimran Singh was caught plumb in front by a fantastic inswinging yorker bowled by Tendulkar. This incident occurred during the seventh over of the match when the ball went beneath Prabhsimran’s bat and hit his right shoe. Despite the on-field umpire’s immediate decision to give it Out, the batter opted for the DRS and went upstairs.
Upon reviewing the replays, it was confirmed that the ball had not made contact with the bat but instead had hit the shoe, which was right in front of the middle stump. The third umpire quickly signaled OUT on the big screen, but unfortunately, the batter had already left the field and walked back to the dressing room after seeing the three red lights indicating his dismissal.
