Netizens troll umpires
At the beginning of the match, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bat first. In the opening over of their innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal managed to survive a review, but it was in the third over when England’s wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler also had a close call. Cameron Green was bowling the third delivery of the over when an edge seemed to occur, resulting in the umpire raising his finger.
Nevertheless, Rajasthan Royals decided to review the decision, contesting the umpire’s call, and upon examining the Ultra Edge, it revealed a flat line, nullifying the original decision. In an unfortunate turn of events, fans took to social media platforms to express their frustration, with some criticizing the on-field umpire for this particular incident. A few individuals pointed out that this was not the first questionable decision, while others shared memes insinuating bias towards Mumbai Indians by the umpires.
