Momin Saqib: One of the biggest surprises in the history of the tournament will be Zimbabwe’s triumph against Pakistan in their Group 2 match on Thursday. Zimbabwe edged over Pakistan in a close match by one run to improve their chances of making the semi-finals. Momin Saqib, a well-known figure on Pakistani social media, posted a video on Instagram with a Zimbabwean fan following the game that made viewers laugh out loud. On social media, the video has become very popular.

The Pakistani bowlers performed a good job holding the Zimbabwean hitters to a run total of 130. Babar Azam & Co. struggled to form a solid relationship while attempting to reach the target of 131. Pakistan continued to lose wickets on a regular basis. Pakistan lost by one run despite requiring 3 runs from the final 3 balls.

After the game, Momin posted a video to Instagram with the caption: “Congratulations to Zimbabwe on their first win against Pakistan in the history of ICC tournaments! Koi baat nahi, haar kar jeetnay wale ko Baazigar kehte hain. We will be back soon.”

The Zimbabwean supporter could be heard continuously saying “Tum Haare to Momin” in the video.

Momin has been uploading videos of the Pakistan cricket team’s experience at the T20 World Cup on a daily basis. Former cricketers and fans have harshly criticised the Asian cricketing contenders for their poor performance in the competition thus far.

Pakistan has now lost two straight games, the first of which was a closely contested contest against India. Pakistan’s chances of reaching the T20 World Cup semifinals in 2022 are all but gone after two consecutive losses.
