England have made a brilliant comeback in the T20 series after the horrific results in the Test series. In the first T20 match, England defeated India by 8 wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. England captain Eoin Morgan said after the victory that the decision to take the field with four fast bowlers was right.
England took the shocking decision and gave place to four fast bowlers in the team in the first T20 match whereas Indian team has gone with just two fast bowlers. England captain Eoin Morgan has stated that his fast bowlers wanted to bring the hosts under pressure with speed their pace.
Morgan said, “Jofra’s strength is that he can bowl at a high speed but of course Mark Wood’s greatest strength is that he can bowl with perfect line and length. It is always difficult to do that but when he bowls in the way he did in this match, was very entertaining.”
England stopped India for 124 for seven in 20 overs in the first T20 match with the superb bowling of Jofra Archer (3/23) and Mark Wood (1/20).
