MotoGP Bharat: We have the first Grand Prix winner in India as Jamue Masia clinched the Moto 3 title on Sunday. It was a pretty one-sided race and no one was even close to the Spanish rider.
He has become the first rider to win a Grand Prix event in India after this commanding victory over his rivals. No other rider was even close to him and fell astonishingly short to the Spaniard.
First MotoGP Bharat Winner
Masia was in the lead throughout the race and was massively ahead of his competition. The Spanish international had a sensational start from the outset and broke free from the crowd of riders.
Japanese rider Sasaki was the only one closer to the Spaniard but fell short by 2.5 seconds while Colin Veijer remained at the third spot. Ayumu Sasaki was the only one challenging Masia after his bike caught fire during Friday’s training session.
Heartbreak From India
Indian rider Kadai Yaseen Ahamed was also in the Moto 3 race but was not able to win the race. But it was a learning experience and an inspiring performance from the Indian. This is the first step towards a chance to leave a legacy in the sport.
