MS Dhoni: Kasi Viswanathan, The CEO of Chennai Super Kings, has come out and told us a major update on MS Dhoni’s future. The CSK Captain was injured in the early stages of IPL 2023 but still led his team to a monumental triumph.
The former Indian captain was part of a knee surgery that took place earlier this month. MS Dhoni did not miss a single IPL 2023 match despite injury. He also promised his fans that he would be part of IPL 2024 as it would be his gift to the fans.
Dhoni Never Complained
Kasi Vishwanath clarified that Dhoni was having trouble with his knew throughout the tournament. He was seen wearing a knee cast in the later stages of the tournament. But according to CSK’s CEO, he never once complained about the injury.
Kasi further stated that he was completely professional and never complained about the injury. Even CSK management did not ask him questions because they believed in him. If Dhoni were not able to play and wanted to sit out, he would have communicated directly; that is how strong their relationship is.

Will He Play in IPL 2024?
Kasi further stated that he recently talked to Dhoni after the surgery, and the former Indian captain told CSK CEO that he would rest for 3 weeks before rehab. Dhoni has informed CSK management that he will not play till January-February.
Kasi was confident that they didn’t need to ask Dhoni about his decision. As the relationship between him and the management is strong, and he will contact them directly if anything happens.
