Virat Kohli has completed 16 years in international cricket and he has established himself as one of the best. He is the pinnacle and the poster boy of cricket all over the world.
In these 16 years, he has shared dressing rooms with lots of greats of the game. Whether it was during his national team stint or while playing in IPL. He has been part of so many great teams.
Two of the greats that he shared the dressing room with are former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and South African AB De Villiers. Both of these players have been an integral part of Kohli’s career.
AB De Villiers Or MS Dhoni?
On his 16th anniversary, Star Sports asked 16 questions to Kohli to find out more about his personal life. The Indian cricketer answered all of them easily but one question that put him on a spot a little bit was choosing between ABD and MSD.
Both of these players are important to Kohli and he is close to both of them. ABD is one of Kohli’s best friends meanwhile Dhoni has always guided him whenever he was in trouble.
So, to not start a fan war, Kohli answered intelligently and picked both of them. It was a boring answer but showcased just how important both of them are in Kohli’s life.
Virat Kohli: What A Career!
To dominate the cricketing world for 16 years is not an easy task. The former Indian skipper has established himself as the greatest white ball player and everyone is waiting for his test form to pick up.
He is also the top contender to break Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most centuries in International cricket. He already has more centuries than Sachin in the ODI, he is just 20 behind him in all three formats.
