MS Dhoni: The Chepauk Stadium, the home of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), is something that former Indian captain MS Dhoni is eager to visit once more in IPL 2023. Dhoni had already stated in IPL 2022 that he will indeed return in the colours of CSK for the following season as well.
Thala Dhoni recently paid a surpise visit to Chennai after being sighted at the airport, and CSK shared a video of their captain on Twitter. The illustrious wicketkeeper-batsman is currently busy filming ads in preparation for the T20 World Cup 2022.
As the two were sighted playing tennis together and their photos went viral, it was later revealed that Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar were filming a commercial together.

Additionally, Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh, a former teammate, appeared in another commercial. The Ranchi-born footballer told the devoted fan base that the squad would return to Chepauk very soon when he was in Chennai to attend an event in the city.
An image of the team’s captain from the occasion was posted by the franchise on Twitter along with the message, “We’ll return to Chepauk next year – Anbuden Thala #WhistlePodu #Yellove.” In fact, the IPL will resume its traditional home-and-away format in 2023 after the last two seasons had to be held inside owing to the Covid-19 outbreak.
