A new report regarding MS Dhoni has come out that he needs another leg surgery and will think about retirement after that.

MS Dhoni: With every passing day, there are new reports about Captain Cool and his future. The biggest thing is that the man himself has not commented on the situation as of yet.

On Sunday, CSK management stated that Dhoni has not made up his mind about retirement yet. They further stated that Captain Cool would make up his mind in a few months and would convey the decision.

A new report by IANS has come out stating that the former Indian skipper is set for another surgery. Last year as well, Dhoni underwent surgery for his knee as he was struggling massively with the issue.

Another Surgery

On Saturday, Chennai Super Kings got knocked out of the IPL 2024 and it will be only the third time that the franchise was not able to qualify. With this loss, CSK’s campaign got over and speculation about Dhoni’s retirement gained traction.

However, a new development has come to light with sources stating that Dhoni has to undergo another surgery. It was reported that Dhoni was playing IPL 2024 with a leg muscle injury and was in huge pain.

According to sources “Dhoni might head to London for his muscle tear surgery which saw him struggling during the IPL. He is not fully fit but wants to continue to play cricket and he will only decide about his future after treatment which will take him five to six months to recover.”

MS Dhoni As A Leader

Speaking at an event, Dhoni spoke about his mantra about leadership. He stated “Important thing is that you need to earn the respect of the people you are leading. You cannot command or demand respect, it has to be earned. I maybe having a position in the institution and it needs to be respected. But me as an individual, sitting on that chair, needs to earn that respect. I can’t be saying you need to respect me because I’m sitting on this chair”
