WTC Final: Beginning on June 7, the Indian team will play Australia in the World Test Championship final. Earlier, the jersey for all three formats was made available by Team India’s new uniform sponsor, Adidas. The Indian team will now compete in all three formats sporting a brand-new uniform that is very different from the previous one. On the social media accounts of the Indian cricket team and Adidas, a video introducing the new shirt was posted.
Exploring the New Jersey Designs for India’s Test, ODI, and T20 Cricket Formats
This video clearly shows the jersey for each of the three formats. The name of India is inscribed in blue over the white Test shirt. On both sides of the shoulder, there are three blue stripes. On the right side of the Chest, there are three blue stripes that are arranged from bottom to top in increasing width. The ODI and T20 uniforms are blue. One jersey is light blue, while the other is a dark blue shade. It hasn’t been made clear which of these shirts is for ODI play and which is for T20, though.
Indian Cricket Team’s New Official Jersey Sponsor and Partnership Details
Before Adidas, the Indian team’s official jersey sponsor was Killer Jeans, and before that, MPL. The Indian cricket team now has Adidas as its official uniform sponsor through 2028. Adidas will be required to pay the BCCI Rs 75 lakh for each game as a result. The men’s, women’s, and under-19 teams from India will all use uniforms made by Adidas. Adidas will sell hats and accessories in addition to the Indian team’s shirts. Adidas will pay the BCCI Rs 10 crore annually as part of this partnership. Adidas also revealed that you may purchase the new Indian team shirt at an Adidas retail location. The Indian team will play the final of the World Test Championship and the ODI World Cup 2023 wearing this jersey.
