WWE: Cody Rhodes is one of the greatest wrestlers active currently. He might be one of the most over guys in WWE and fans love him. The American Nightmare just came out of a career-defining feud against Brock Lesnar.
The feud might not had a story but the matches between the two made up for it. But as of now, the Rhodes Scholar is directionless in the WWE scenario. With Payback coming close, he still does not have any match.
But considering his popularity the World Wrestling Federation won’t not book him in their upcoming Premium Live Event. And they might have a small plan for him to appear on the show. On the other other the match card for Payback is starting to take shape and it is looking pretty solid.
Cody Rhodes Special Appearance
The former TNT Champion won’t be wrestling at the Payback but he will appear in the event. But he will be part of a segment in the form of a talk show. The talk show hosted by Grayson Waller will have Cody as the special guest on the night of Payback.
The Grayson Waller Effect has hosted many legends and amazing wrestlers on his talk show, but this will be the first time he will host a talk show on a premium live event. Keep your eyes open as we can get some kind of progression with Cody on the talk show.
The WWE Payback Card
So far, the match card for Payback looks absolutely solid. There are some amazing matches and many things to look forward to in this Premium Live Event. The first of those is the match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Seth Rollins.
It is the best feud in WWE right now and the match will be a banger as well. LA Knight will take on The Miz and hopefully will kickstart his rise to the top. Rey Mysterio will defend his US Title against Austin Theory.
Becky Lynch will take on Trish Stratus in a steel cage match and will blow off the feud. Raquel Rodriguez will try and win the Women’s Championship from Rhea Ripley.
