PAK Vs BAN will be remembered as a historic match. The Bangladesh Cricket Team brought much-needed waves of happiness for their country as they defeated Pakistan for the first time in Test cricket.
By the end of the fourth day, it was turning out to be a boring snoozefest and a draw was certain. But the Bangladesh team turned the tides completely in just a single session on the final day.
They did not even let the Pakistani team bat till Tea on the final day and secured a victory by a huge margin. This was the 13th time Bangladesh has faced Pakistan and it is their first win in 24 years.
PAK Vs BAN: Historic Win
The victory by Bangladesh also marked the first time that a visiting team has defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets in their own home.
This match against Bangladesh was barred with controversy from the start. Starting from Shan Masood controversial dismissal followed by the early declaration that got him bombarded by the fans.
Pakistan’s top order was non-existent in the match as it was shut down by the Bangladesh bowlers in both innings. Mohammad Rizwan was the hero in the first inning and tried to save his team again but failed.
Dreadful Home Run
This continues the dreadful home test series runs of Pakistan since 2022 They have played 4 test series since 2022 and have not won even a single match. This is their fourth consecutive home test series and a worrisome sign.
In those four series, Pakistan has played 9 matches losing 5 and drawing 4 out of them. Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah stated that the pitches they have prepared provide nothing for the home team.
