PAK vs SL Asia Cup 2023: Former Pakistan legend Wasim Akram was in a sour mood ahead of their final Super 4 match against Sri Lanka. He was angry at the team management and stated it was a failure.
Pakistan suffered a 228-run defeat against India in the Super 4 match and that loss has made their qualification hope slim. And because of that the team management has come under lots of attack.
Especially the team director of Pakistan Mickey Arthur got the most criticism as he did not travel with the national team for Asia Cup 2023. Rather, Arthur is in England enjoying County Cricket and Wasim Akram was really angry with that.

As we have mentioned Mickey Arthur did not travel to Sri Lanka with the national team for the continental tournament. He is currently with Derbyshire and is serving as their head coach.
This act was not liked by Wasim Akram and he was really angry with the head coach. He thinks that the director of the team should be with the team for a major tournament like the Asia Cup.
“Our team director is in Derbyshire and tweeting about county games instead of being here with the Pakistani team in the Asia Cup”.
Pak vs SL Asia Cup 2023: Knock-Out Game
This will be the final Super 4 game for both teams and a loss will get them knocked out. If the match is washed out, Sri Lanka will qualify because of the better run rate. So, the Pakistan team is in deep trouble and needs to win it at any cost.
It will be an intense match and both teams would like to do everything to register this win. After all, who wouldn’t like the chance to be crowned as the champions of Asia?
