Pakistan Media Cries Foul After Jay Shah Refuses to Interact With PCB, Say 5-6 Boards Dum Hilate Hue Jo Jay Shah….

Pakistan Media Reacts Strongly as BCCI Secretary Jay Shah Refuses to Engage with PCB, Allegations of Influence Over Other Boards Surface

Pakistani Media on Jay Shah: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is relying on the International Cricket Council (ICC) to persuade the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to send its team to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy next year. According to a PCB insider, while the budget for the Champions Trophy was approved at the recent ICC meetings in Colombo, the schedule and format were not discussed. Amid this ongoing situation, the Pakistani media’s reaction to Jay Shah has gone viral, showing them complaining about Jay Shah’s alleged refusal to meet with the PCB Chairman.

Basit Ali’s Criticism of Jay Shah

Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali has also taken a swipe at BCCI Secretary Jay Shah for reportedly refusing to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025. Ali accused Shah of influencing other cricket boards to align with his decisions. On his YouTube channel, Basit Ali, in a five-minute segment, said, “There are 5-6 boards, they will talk with their tails wagging at whatever Jay Shah says. If he says the Champions Trophy will be in Pakistan, they’ll agree. If he says it’ll be a hybrid model, they’ll go with that too.”

Viral Reactions from Pakistani Media

Videos of the Pakistani media’s reactions have gone viral, where they are seen upset over Jay Shah’s alleged refusal. One user commented, “Why is Pakistan so desperate for India to play? No self-respect, BCCI must not bow down. Come what may.” Another said, “We don’t play with terrorists.” A third user remarked, “What SAAJISH? We are openly saying we don’t want to play in Pakistan. Do whatever you want.”

The PCB has left the task of convincing the BCCI to the ICC, but with the media frenzy and allegations flying, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold. The Champions Trophy, set to be held in the first quarter of next year, is already creating headlines for all the wrong reasons.
