In the past few days, after the Paris Olympics 2024, a video has been circulating on the internet. The video features India’s double Olympic medalists Neeraj Chopra and Manu Bhaker.
The harmless 2-minute video went viral when the Indian fans started to spread a rumor of Manu and Neeraj liking each other. In another video, Neeraj was seen talking to Manu’s mother and the rumors were inflamed.
Few fans even started rumors of marriage between two Indian athletes after watching the video. They were termed as the ‘Super couple of India’ and Manu’s father is furious about it.
‘He Is Like A Son’
Manu’s father, Ram Kishan Bhaker, stated that Neeraj is like a son to us and nothing is going on between the two athletes. He was angry over the social media overdrive regarding this matter and wanted it to stop.
“Manu is still very young. She is not even of marriageable age. Not even thinking about it right now. Manu’s mother considers Neeraj like her son.” Ram Kishan stated in a quite angry manner.
He wants the rumors to stop which have crossed all the boundaries this time. One user went to social media and posted a video with the caption “All you need is a medal in the Olympics to impress both mother and daughter.”
Paris Olympics 2024: Everyone Will Know
Neeraj’s uncle also reportedly shed light on the situation and shut down every rumor. He stated “Just as Neeraj brought the medal, the entire country got to know about it. Similarly, when he marries, then everyone will know.”
Various fans have also trolled these baseless rumors as several memes were shared on social media after these ridiculous rumors started surfacing.
