Today we are seeing a new dream in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. A dream of 1.4 billion Indians. That is a shared dream of bringing India to the Olympics and bringing the Olympics to India,” Ambani said. She further said that while the Olympic flame was first lit in Athens, it must one day shine in India as it is such an ardent aspiration for the country.
India House as a Symbol of Commitment
Nita Ambani said that India House stood as a point, indirectly tagging the commitment from India’s side towards the Olympics. She said, “India House is a symbol of India’s Olympic aspirations. We hope that it becomes a home away from home for our athletes. A place where we respect them, salute their spirit, and celebrate their achievements.” She also mentioned that India House is a new beginning for India, inviting the world to experience the rich heritage and diversity of India in the heart of Paris.
The inauguration of India House is the single biggest step that Indian Sports has taken for its Olympic dreams. It is the stamp of an increasingly strong footprint left by the country in the international arena and its commitment toward furthering international sporting relations.
