PBKS vs GT IPL 2023: The 18th match of the tournament is currently underway in Mohali between Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans. Hardik Pandya’s team did a commendable job in limiting the batting assault of home team. However, he was caught off guard when he himself came to bat as he failed to register a big score in the tournament once again.
Harpreet Brar’s action-packed delivery
Punjab Kings batter could not do much in their innings as they gave a target of 154 runs to the visitors. In response, GT had a contrasting and ideal start as they continue to play well without losing momentum at any phase of the game. Shubman Gill led the charge while Sudharsan and Saha played brief yet crucial knocks.
Hardik Pandya had come to the crease after Sudharsan’s wicket fell. However, he scored just 8 runs off 11 balls, batting at a strike rate of 72.73. During the end of the 14th over, Hardik had slammed a four off Rabada and looked as if he would now change gear. However, Harpreet Brar came to bowl the next over and the skipper was dismissed on the second ball as he got to the strike.
Hardik tried to cut the ball and time it for six towards the mid-on, however, Sam Curran picked a stunning catch and dismissed the batter. This was the third single-digit score for Hardik in the tournament (He has played three matches as he was ill during the match against KKR). He now has a score of 8,5, and 8 and he has not taken any wicket either.
