MS Dhoni

Former Indian wicketkeeper Dinesh Kartik apologised to everyone for not picking MS Dhoni in his all-time XI and stated it was a mistake.

A few days ago, former India wicketkeeper Dinesh Kartik left the fans fuming over his all-time India XI. The team left the fans fuming as there was no MS Dhoni in the team who is considered to be the best keeper India has ever produced.

Surprisingly, Kartik did not add a wicketkeeper to his despite him being the keeper himself. This team left the fans confused and angry at the same time and they let him know.

In a recent episode of ‘HeyCB’ on Cricbuzz, one fan asked the same question again and Kartik was quick to accept his mistake. He apologized to everyone and stated that Dhoni would be on his team no matter what.

MS Dhoni At Seven

As soon as Kartik saw the message, he was quick to respond stating that he made a major mistake by not picking MSD in the team. He reminded everyone that he forgot to pick a keeper despite him being one himself.

He stated, “Guys, I made a huge mistake. I realized only when the episode came out – Dhoni is a lock in any format, not only in India. I feel he is one of the greatest cricketers. If I had to redo that team, Thala Dhoni would be at 7. He will be the captain of any Indian team that is there”.

Though DK did not specify which player will be replaced by MSD, by the team structure it looked like Ravindra Jadeja was getting sacked.

DK’s All-Time XI

It was an impressive team by DK nonetheless. It was a balanced team with all the greats and was only missing a keeper which he has now redeemed.

Dinesh Karthik’s All-Time XI: Rohit Sharma, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Ravindra Jadeja (MS Dhoni the new addition), Ravichandran Ashwin, Anil Kumble, Jasprit Bumrah and Zaheer Khan.
