PSL 2023: Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza left the crowd at the Gaddafi Stadium in awe during the Lahore Qalandars vs Quetta Gladiators match in the ongoing Pakistan Super League. His incredible fielding effort made him the star of the moment as he saved a six by diving.
Sikandar Raza pulls off unbelievable save
Quetta Gladiators’ chase of 149 against Lahore Qalandars. In the fifth over of the second innings, Quetta opener Will Smeed hit a short delivery by spinner Rashid Khan into the forward square leg region. However, many would have expected it to sail across the boundary line and go for six, but, Sikandar Raza had other plans.
Just across the boundary line, Sikandar jumped and made a stunning dive to save the six. He jumped across and grabbed the ball and threw it back to the ground before falling. He quickly came back and threw the ball back to the bowler. The crowd and commentators applauded him from his brave effort and saving runs for his team.

PSL shared the video of the incident on their Twitter handle with the caption “Superman.” Sikandar Raza’s brilliant fielding effort during the Lahore Qalandars vs Quetta Gladiators match in the Pakistan Super League on Thursday was no surprise, given that the Zimbabwe all-rounder had already put in an exceptional performance to help his team recover from a precarious position of 50/7 to a defendable total of 148.
Sikandar smashed 71 off 34 balls with a strike rate of 208.82. His knock included eight boundaries and three maximums. With the help o fhis knock, his team reached 148 and then successfully defended the target by 17 runs. Without his knock, victory would have been difficult for the team as he scored almost half of the team’s runs.
