PSL 2023: Iftikhar Ahmed continued his outstanding performance in T20 cricket by hitting a historic six sixes in one over against Wahab Riaz during an electrifying match in the Pakistan Super League. Ahmed, who was playing for the Quetta Gladiators against the Peshawar Zalmi, sent the crowd into a frenzy by scoring 36 runs in the 20th over of the innings.

The match got underway with Zalmi captain Babar Azam winning the toss and choosing to bowl first against Quetta Gladiators, led by Sarfaraz Ahmed. The Gladiators posted a challenging score of 184 runs in their 20 overs, setting the stage for an exciting showdown. Ahmed's stunning display of power and finesse was a sight to behold as he sent the ball soaring all over the field, adding valuable runs to the team's score. He finished the innings with an impressive 94 runs from 50 balls, reaching his half-century in just 42 deliveries.
Iftikhar Ahmed got the game started with a bang by hitting the first delivery out of the park with a mighty six over the square leg boundary. The following ball was slightly more in line, but it didn't stop Ahmed as he sent the third one soaring high over the bowler's head. In an attempt to stop the onslaught, Wahab changed his approach and bowled from around the wicket for the fourth ball, but to no avail as Ahmed unleashed a forceful strike that sailed over the cover boundary.

The last delivery sailed past the third-man line, while the fifth delivery landed in the third-man area. With 36 runs, Khushdil Shah was the Quetta Gladiators' second-highest scorer. Earlier, the match garnered headlines as the protests happened outside the stadium and even a bomb blast happened near to the venue. The incident even halted the match for a few minutes.
