PSL: The Quetta Gladiators vs. Peshawar Zalmi T20 match was halted owing to a terrorist attack at Musa Chowk in Quetta. Smoke was seen coming out from a section of the stadium. According to a number of sources, crowd mishandling at the Bugti Stadium also contributed to the exhibition game's abrupt stoppage.
What had happened in the PSL exhibition match?
Videos available on the internet show a dark smoke trail rising outside the venue. It was later discovered that some mischevious people started the fire. The Quetta bomb happened close to Police Line, which is located around 4 kilometres from Bugti Stadium. The explosion was indeed a very terrible occurrence, especially because Quetta's PSL Exhibition Match was taking place at the time.
As per the authorities, there was an explosion on Sunday in the Quetta Police Lines area that injured at least five people. According to sources, Edhi employee Zeeshan Ahmed, who is in charge of the rescue operation on the spot, has brought the injured individuals to the Civil Hospital in Quetta.

The incident was claimed by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), an illegal group, in a statement released on Sunday. According to the report, the explosive was intended for security officers. The blast happened only a few days after a terrible suicide bombing in which over 80 people—mostly police officers—were killed in the Peshawar Police Lines area.
