India’s ace shuttler PV Sindhu entered the finals of Syed Modi International after Evgeniya Kosetskaya withdrew midway through their women’s singles semi-final match.

Sindhu won the first game (21-11) in just 12 minutes against Russia’s Evgeniya Kosetskaya.
Kosetskaya decided to withdraw before the start of the second game and gave the Indian shuttler an easy way to the final.
On the other hand, India’s men’s challenge ended with Mithun Manjunath losing Arnuad Merkle 21-19, 17-21, 21-9 in an 84-minute-long contest.
