Rahul Dravid: On Wednesday, Rahul Dravid, the head coach of Team India, turned 50. Dravid, who is widely regarded as one of history’s best hitters, played for India in 164 Tests and 340 ODIs. He also served as team captain from 2005 to 2007. With 13,288 runs scored, Dravid is the fourth-highest run scorer in the game’s longest format.

Dravid is now with the squad as it competes in a series of ODIs against Sri Lanka after being named the head coach of the Indian men’s team in November 2021. In Kolkata, where he spent his birthday with the Indian squad, the commentators discussed the great Indian’s contributions to the nation as he sat in the dressing room for the second ODI of the series. During this time, David was also displayed on the television, and when he saw himself and his statistics on the screen, his response was just comical.
