Indian cricketer KL Rahul retained his second position in the batting list of the latest ICC T20 International rankings released on Wednesday. In this list, captain Virat Kohli got the advantage of one position and he reached sixth place.
Rahul is behind England’s David Malan (915) by 816 points, who have retained their top position, while Kohli has 697 points. Pakistan captain Babar Azam (801) moved up one place to the third position.
There has been a lot of change in the updated rankings of the players of New Zealand and Australia after the first two matches of the ongoing series between the two countries.
New Zealand’s Devon Conway scored an unbeaten 99 in the opening match to take the advantage of 46 places to 17th after just eight matches, while opener Martin Guptill moved up three places to 11th with a 97-run knock.
Australia’s Marcus Stoinis is up 77 places to 110th, while Matthew Wade is 118th. There is no change in the top five places in the list of bowlers, in which Rashid Khan (736) of Afghanistan is at the top.
