Raina, Bhajji and Sreesanth meet Rishabh Pant at his home, share an emotional note saying ‘Brotherhood is everything’

Rishabh Pant: Last year in December, star Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant got through a severe car accident. He underwent surgery in Mumbai and is currently in the rehabilitation phase. Unfortunately, he will not be able to play for at least a year as he continues his recovery process. Amidst his recovery, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, and bowler S Sreesanth, all former Indian cricketers, recently visited him and shared a photo of their meeting on social media.

Suresh Raina took to Twitter and shared a tweet in which he wrote, “Brotherhood is everything…family is where our heart is…wishing our brother Rishabh Pant the very best and fast recovery.” S Sreesanth, an Indian bowler, also posted a group photo with Rishabh Pant, Harbhajan Singh, and Raina on his social media account. Sreesanth encouraged Pant to continue believing in himself and inspiring others.

Due to his ongoing rehabilitation period, Rishabh Pant won’t be playing in the upcoming 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Delhi Capitals. The team management has entrusted the responsibility of captaining the side to the Australian opener David Warner for the upcoming season.

Rishabh Pant to miss key tournaments

Rishabh Pant’s absence extends beyond IPL 2023, as he will not be seen in the World Test Championship final, Asia Cup 2023, and his participation in the ICC Men’s Cricket ODI Cricket World Cup 2023, to be held in India this year, is uncertain. Pant underwent surgery and is currently in a period of recovery, which will keep him off the field for at least a year. The last time Pant played international cricket was in December last year during the Test series against Bangladesh, where he scored 93 and 9 runs in both innings, helping India win the match by 3 wickets.
