Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and his wife Rivaba Jadeja cast their vote in Jamnagar, Gujarat on Tuesday. The all-rounder flew back to Gujarat from Dharamshala where he played his latest IPL 2024 match to cast his vote in the third phase of the Lok Sabha Elections in India.
Earlier in the morning, Jadeja’s sister Naina Jadeja, and his father, Anirudhsing Jadeja also cast their vote. They even talked to the journalists after casting their vote as Naina stated “Voting is our right in a democracy. We should vote for a better future.”
The voting in Gujarat commenced on May 7th, Tuesday for 25 of the 26 parliamentary seats in Gujarat. The polling for the third phase of the general election for 93 Lok Sabha seats has begun today across 12 states and Union territories.
“My vote, My Right”
Jadeja completed his primary duty of casting his vote in Lok Sabha Elections and shared a picture on Instagram. The picture also featured his wife who had cast her vote early in the morning.
Rivaba is an MLA of the Bhartiya Janta Party(BJP) from Jamnagar North Constituency. She also shared a picture on social media after casting her vote. Her caption read “Making my mark in history: voted in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, securing India’s tomorrow.”
Jadeja also highlighted the importance of voting as he wrote down “My Vote, My Right” in the caption. Ravindra Jadeja is all set to represent India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA and West Indies.
